At BFIS, education is a shared responsibility. Our Parents Teachers Association brings together the Principal, seven elected parent representatives and members of the teaching and administrative staff, with a nominated President.

The PTA meets quarterly to:

• Share parent perspectives and suggestions before key decisions are made.
• Support the school in monitoring its goals, policies and performance.
• Strengthen communication between home and school.
• Help resolve issues raised by the wider school community.
• Encourage parent participation in school events and initiatives.
